As some of you know, I have been doing a little work for a great organization here in Largo known as the SPCA Tampa Bay. Being an animal lover for as long as I can remember, I really do enjoy the work. So I was more than happy to discover a great little startup site called Creative PAW. I am currently forwarding this link to all of my friends and colleagues whom I think might be interested. If it weren’t for this pesky need to eat, I would be doing Pro Bono work full-time. But it is nice to help out where I can. You can too!

If you want to learn a little more about the site and its founder, check out an interview with Linda Formichelli.

Linked In

For all of those people addicted to social networking sites, LinkedIn is the answer to your prayers. Finally, you can feel justified slacking off in the office.

I had heard of LinkedIn quite a while ago and began to set up an account. I decided to go back to an old post on one of my fav blogs Freelance Switch titled 8 Things You Can Do to Get Work Through LinkedIn. The very first suggestion is to fill out your profile and make it look good! So that is my theme for today. LinkedIn You are on!

As Collis Ta’aed mentions in the post, According to Linkedin , users with complete profiles are 40 times more likely to find opportunities through the site. That makes perfect sense and it is really just a matter of doing it. Especially when there are tastier sites out there like MySpace and FaceBook. I am going to buckle down and do the right thing.
